BIO

David Lim is a Chinese-American actor and model. He was born in Oakland, California, spending most of his childhood and youth in San Ramon. David played basketball, baseball, and soccer as a kid and throughout high school. He attended the University of California San Diego, graduating in 2005 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He lived in San Diego during and after college, and has a younger sister who also attended UC San Diego.

in 2009, David signed a contract with Ford Models. He moved to Los Angeles shortly after to pursue modeling and acting. Since then, he has appeared in several ads and national commercials, and numerous television shows including Supergirl, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Criminal Minds, Castle, 90210, and Hollywood Heights. He appeared in a key recurring role in the second season of the ABC drama Quantico. David currently appears as a series regular on the hit CBS police drama S.W.A.T., currently wrapping up its sixth season.

David hopes to create, inspire, entertain, and continue to meet and work with wonderful people. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, photography, playing cornhole, and spending time with his friends, family and dog.
